About Us

Tung Ling Preschool Education, formerly known as Tung Ling Kindergarten, began in an old 3 storey building which was occupied by a private school named Tung Ling English School. When Church of Singapore became the main tenant of this building, the Church Elders and Leaders decided to run a kindergarten, and thus Tung Ling Kindergarten was birthed. The kindergarten received its Registration Certificate from the Ministry of Education in August 1977. We have since converted to operating as a childcare centre under a new name “Tung Ling Preschool Education” since January 2022. We offer full day and half day programme for children aged 18 months to 6 years old.

Thank to all teaching and non-teaching staff for your hard and heart work in nurturing the kids with the right attitudes to learning and to life, and most importantly, to teach them the ways of God so that when they grow up, they will not depart from it. We were grateful for the decision we made by sending both our kids to Tung Ling. They had such enriching experiences and received genuine abundant love care from the close-knitted staff – both teaching and non-teaching. We didn’t have to worry about their well-being whilst they were in school. Your work means the world to parents and to the young minds whom you embrace everyday.

We decided to transfer Kathleen to Tung Ling early this year and we were glad we did. We would like to thank all the staff and teachers for their love, patience and guidance towards Kathleen. She enjoys being in school and never once complain about anyone. All your care and attention made her feel so comfortable. Thank you so much and wishing Tung Ling with more happy children. We have seen many positive changes in Alden and he has now grown to be a good role model for his sister Anna. These changes as well as moulding of character and values for Alden is all due to the efforts Tung Ling has provided to all the wonderful children in the school. We hope that Tung Ling will continue to be there in future so that Alden and Anna can give back to the school.

My family and I are extremely grateful to Tung Ling’s teachers and staff (past and present) for providing a nurturing environment for our girls to grow, explore and develop safely. We know that it is definitely not easy to teach children in today’s environment. Thank you for being a big part of Marianne’s and Melissa’s early childhood years.
